Gluten-Free Belgian Waffles

Belgian waffles are a weekend breakfast that my family loves!

I will often double batch these up and freeze them, so my kids can reheat them for a quick weekday breakfast, too.

For this recipe, I use Bob’s Red Mill Gluten-Free Baking Flour, which gives the waffles a perfect texture; crisp on the outside, and soft and chewy inside.

Instructions

  • Preheat your Belgian waffle maker (we cook on setting 3)
  • Melt the butter in a microwave safe dish and warm up the almond milk by microwaving for 15-20 seconds.
  • Add all the wet ingredients to a large bowl and mix well.
  • In a separate bowl, mix together the dry ingredients and then add them to the wet ingredients and mix again.
  • Optional – Add in any optional mix-ins.
  • Cook as directed on your Belgian waffle maker and enjoy!
  • TIP: I like to double batch these and freeze them for busy weekday mornings.
