Gluten-Free, Dairy-Free Lemon Cookies
These gluten-free, dairy-free lemon cookies are not only fun to make, but taste absolutely delicious! We chose to make heart-shaped cookies, but you can choose any shape that you’d like.

Gluten-Free, Dairy-Free Lemon Cookies
Ingredients
- 1 1/4 cup gluten-free baking flour
- 1/4 cup powdered sugar
- 1/2 teaspoon baking powder
- 1/4 teaspoon salt
- 2 tablespoons lemon zest
- 1/2 cup Miyokos dairy-free butter, softened
- 1/8 cup maple syrup
- 1/2 teaspoon vanilla
- 2 teaspoons freshly squeezed lemon juice
Glaze
- 1 cup powdered sugar
- 3-4 teaspoons freshly squeezed lemon juice
- 1 teaspoon water
- lemon zest for topping
Instructions
- Preheat the oven to 350 degrees F.
- In a large bowl, mix together the gluten-free baking flour, powdered sugar, baking powder, salt, and lemon zest.
- In another bowl, use a mixer to cream the butter. Slowly mix in the maple syrup, vanilla, and lemon juice.
- Add the wet ingredients to the dry ingredients and mix well to form a cookie dough.
- Roll out your cookie dough and cut out desired shapes.
- Place each cookie on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper and bake for 10-12 minutes.
- While the cookies are baking, make the glaze by mixing together all the ingredients.
- When the cookies are done, let them cool before glazing and sprinkling with the lemon zest. Enjoy!
