Banana Macadamia Nut Bread
Ingredients
- 2 cups gluten-free baking flour
- 1 teaspoon baking powder
- 1 teaspoon baking soda
- 1/4 teaspoon salt
- 4 very ripe bananas
- 1/2 cup maple syrup
- 1/2 cup salted butter, melted
- 2 eggs
- 1/4 cup almond milk
- 1/2 teaspoon vanilla
- 3/4 cup mini chocolate chips
- 1/4 cup macadamia nuts, crushed
- 1 tablespoon chia seeds
Instructions
- Preheat the oven to 350 degrees.
- Mix all the dry ingredients in a bowl (except nuts, chocolate chips, and chia seeds) and set aside.
- Mash the bananas in another large mixing bowl.
- Add all of the wet ingredients into the large bowl with the mashed banana and mix well.
- Slowly add the dry ingredients to the wet ones and continue mixing until well blended.
- Fold in the nuts, chocolate chips, and chia seeds.
- Lightly grease a 9-inch round baking pan and pour in the batter.
- Bake for 25-30 minutes or until a toothpick comes out clean when inserted.
